At Beach City Baseball Academy, we believe in more than just developing great athletes, we believe in supporting the baseball community as a whole. This year, thanks to the incredible turnout and support for our annual MLK Camp, we were able to raise $2,000, which we proudly donated to East Altadena Little League.
East Altadena Little League suffered a devastating loss earlier this year when fires in Altadena destroyed their equipment and facilities. As a fellow baseball-loving community, we knew we had to step up and help them rebuild. Through the proceeds from our MLK Camp, we were able to contribute to their recovery and ensure that young players in Altadena can continue playing the game they love.
The highlight of this effort came at El Segundo Little League’s Opening Day ceremony, where we had the honor of presenting the donation to East Altadena Little League. Seeing the gratitude and excitement from their league members reminded us why we do what we do, it’s about more than just baseball; it’s about community, resilience, and giving back.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all the families, players, and coaches who participated in our MLK Camp. Your support made this donation possible, and together, we’re making a difference in the lives of young athletes.
